Tent Ballast & Anchoring Requirements

For the safety, stability, and proper installation of all frame tents, an approved anchoring method is required. Ballast options are determined based on surface conditions, venue restrictions, and tent size.

• 42” Ground Stakes

  • Stakes are included in pricing

  • Client is responsible for identifying and marking all sprinkler systems and underground utility lines prior to installation, call 811 to get markings

  • If staking is not permitted or feasible, an alternative ballast solution will be required

• 48-Gallon Water Ballast

  • Water barrels are included in pricing

  • Client must provide access to a water source

  • Water spigot must be located within 25 feet of the tent installation area

  • Additional fees may apply if water access exceeds 25 feet

• Concrete Ballast

  • Concrete blocks are not included in base pricing and are available as an add-on

  • Price: $35 Each block

  • Concrete blocks may be professionally covered for a polished appearance at an additional cost

  • R & R Party Rentals reserves the right to determine the appropriate anchoring method to meet safety standards and venue requirements.

Important Planning Notes

• Capacities are based on seating only

• Dance floors, bars, buffet stations, head tables, cake tables, DJ setups, or lounge areas will reduce overall capacity

• For enhanced guest comfort or more elaborate layouts, a larger tent size may be recommended

Tent sidewalls are available as an add-on service and provide additional protection, privacy, and comfort for your event.

Sidewall Details

• Price: $25 per panel

• Panel Size: 8’ x 20’

• Sidewalls may be installed on select or all sides of the tent, depending on event needs and layout
